Eye Examinations

We tailor every eye examination for a patient’s individual needs.  An eye examination is necessary should you have concerns about your vision or a problem with the health of your eyes or simply a routine visit to ensure good ocular health and vision.

Our Optometrists will listen carefully to concerns you may express and be happy to answer questions you may have. Our consulting rooms have up-to-date equipment, which allow a thorough examination of the health of your eyes and assessment of your vision.

We can check for glaucoma, by monitoring the optic nerve at the back of the eye along with measuring the pressure of the eyes and visual field screening. We check for cataract, diabetic eye changes, problems due to raised blood pressure and cholesterol and many other possible ocular conditions. Our Optometrist will also be happy to advise you on your suitability for contact lens wear.

We offer a two-tier eye examination*

A standard eye examination, free for NHS patients or £22.50 if paying privately, and an Advanced eye examination, £10 extra for NHS patients or £32.50 privately.
